Description

WFTE FM strives to create programming that serves our progressive community, and the needs and interests of the 99%.

We do this by featuring and exploring information, ideas and culture ignored, suppressed, overlooked or under served by the mainstream media in our region, which is inundated with conservative talk shows, right wing religious programs and canned commercial music.

We want to serve as a catalyst and coordinator for regional progressive action. If you want to change the world, you have to know the world. We help by providing a wide and unique variety of creative and topical content using world, national and local news, cultural programs featuring local artists, investigative reporting, in-depth talk shows and educational programming including civic, scientific, cultural, historical and humane studies .
