ERASMUS+ SES-ECO PROJECT

Description

SES-ECO Project is a European Union Erasmus+ Project which aims to make awareness amongst yongsters to keep the environment clean and to supply for an undistorted nature.

Target Groups are:
• Young people ages between 17-26;
• Leaders and members of youth clubs,
• Scout leaders and scouts,
• Members of environmental clubs in high schools/universities and
• Young members of environmental NGOs,
• Representatives of mountaineering and trekking associations.

In our project, innovative ways to ensure sustainable investment in education, training & youth to our target group will be supplied by the achievement of the following;

• Building trainers’ capacity in the areas of ecology and systems thinking,
• Increasing an awareness for the environment,
• Improving the understanding of ecological science & its usefulness for real-world environmental issues,
• Creating a sense of place & encouraging teaching with multiple learning styles.
• Quantifying ecoliteracy.

Our project supports the new participatory & intercultural approaches to heritage by the variety of countries taking place in the project, as well as educational initiatives aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue involving teachers and pupils from an early age are considered as our target group is the youngsters. We will train them from their early ages in order to give them the real environmental consciousness at the early ages of their lives. By being an international project in many languages, it will be helpful for them to be trained easily by the outputs of our project ;

• Members of University’ and high schools’ environmental clubs;
• Representatives of NGOs working on environmental issues,
• Scout leaders and scouts,
• Representatives of mountaineering and trekking associations.
