Description
Ministry of Coal along with Coal India Limited launches a portal for citizens of India and coal consumers to monitor the process of Third Party Sampling across coal companies for supplies under different sector. It is aimed at ensuring transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency in coal quality ecosystem and hence aptly named as UTTAM - Unlocking Transparency by Third Party Assessment of Mined coal.
UTTAM will be providing a live tracking platform for observing sampling and quality coverage by third party agencies. It is consciously designed in a citizen friendly format so as to reach a wider audience of the country and making them a stakeholder in the coal quality assessment process.
