Description

Hello everybody! The uECG monitor application is designed to work with the uECG device. uECG is the smallest open source wearable ECG with a high quality signal. This app allows to receive realtime ECG data as well as other parameters (high precision RR intervals, variation statistics, device orientation, step counter) from this device.

What is does:
receives and displays raw ECG data from uECG device
receives BPM, HRV parameters, step counter and device orientation
allows to save raw ECG data and detected RR intervals into files

The application is very easy to use. Open the app and bring the phone 30 cm or closer to the device while uECG is turned on. The app should start receiving the signal immediately (for a first few seconds app may lag and skip data - but within a minute it should become stable, with rare data gaps). When recording is enabled, data are stored in Documents/uECG folder, with filename indicating time/date of the record. Current version doesn't send any data anywhere - in future we plan to add an optional web service to store and (in more distant future) automatically analyze recorded data.

Unfortunately not all Android phones are supported at the moment: please feel free to complain loudly in the comments here and we’ll try to fix it! :) This is our first public app and we will improve it over time.

Also, if you saw this application and don’t know what kind of device is uECG, we suggest that you read more here: https://hackaday.io/project/164486-uecg-a-very-small-wearable-ecg .

Our project is fully open source and open hardware. App is also open source, code is located here: https://github.com/ultimaterobotics/uECG (don't forget to check the description and follow links to the most recent version).

Latest stable build is available for installation on this play store page. You can purchase uECG from our Tindie store: https://www.tindie.com/products/ultimaterobotics/uecg-smallest-open-low-power-ecg/ - or produce it yourself, PCB design and firmware are available
