Description

Vivx is a contemporary version of letter writing campaigns for the release of Amnesty International's "Prisoner of conscience," which harnesses the power of the Internet to connect people who are at risk because of their activism with the general public.

Skylight proposes to create an online "virtual accompaniment" space to raise public profiles of human rights defenders who are under serious threat. Skylight believes that one of the most effective ways to protect defenders has been with the personal accompaniment of international volunteers, as Peace Brigades International (PBI) does.
