Jplanner - Effective Learning

Jplanner allows learning planning throughout the year. Based on recent recommendations from cognitive science research, it offers optimized and customizable planning for your revisions.

PLANNING BASED ON A LEARNING MODEL
Researchers have demonstrated that several stages are necessary for a lesson to be fully memorized : comprehension, learning, recalls… They have also showed that a specific distribution of learning over time results in better retention of information. By following these recommendations, memorization can be up to 3 times higher than normal !

J.planner offers optimized and configurable planning based on this learning model :
– Differentiated sessions with reminder of objectives
– Customizable distribution of sessions (including assessments)
– Possible postponement of sessions

and to control your work schedule :
– Schedule view
– Review mode for exam preparation
– Synchronization with Calendar

LEARNING PLANNING
There are several planning models. J.planner lets you choose the model that suits you best from a range of different models.

J.planner also takes assessments into account : revisions are then planned according to them.

J.planner can be used throughout the year, as well as over a limited revision period.

For exam preparation, Revision mode provides an overview of all courses.

JPLANNER DAILY
J.planner is very easy to use. Each day, the main window gives access :

– to daily Lessons
– to the Agenda
– to Schedule

Under the « Courses » tab, each subject is displayed according to the timetable defined. If a lesson has been taken during the day, simply specify its title and Jplanner will propose a learning schedule. Set the parameters of your schedule before validating it.

The « Agenda » tab displays all the sessions scheduled for the day. You can then access information and objectives for each session, with the option of rescheduling if you can’t make it.

At any time, you can unfold the « Schedule » to access an overview of planned work sessions.

Touch navigation : toggle between Lessons and Calendar, or scroll through the days by swiping horizontally and double-tap.
