Description
TFRunAnalysis application is based on accurate & complete athlete model to evaluate event performance & fitness. It provides analysis, prediction, & training for Track & Field run, sprint, distance, hurdle, relay, & combined events.
Individual Models used as reference for fitness, training evaluation (example: Intensity Level), & competition progress. It is a Personal Training Aid, compatible with & follows guidelines from USA Track & Field Coaching Manual. It provides performance analysis and feedback of performance & training results.
Human Body model, Digital Signal Processor & Machine Learning algorithms, data error checks, Aerobic Profile algorithm, Wind, & External Files included.
Selected training session results are recorded. Training is then adjusted based on analysis & reference provided. Process is then periodically repeated for best results.
It requires: 30 meter & 60 meters times (dead start) & step count at 30 m for accuracy. External File names start with EXSR, EXDR, EXHR, EXRR, or EXLN. Parameters & data supplied use csv (comma separated values).
Energy System(s) trained & calculated intensity level(s) provided. Values verify energy system(s) are trained at correct intensity level.
Sprint & Run Time calculations use supplied athlete data & Run Distance times. Calculated values include Run Time, Max Run Rate, Run Time Constant, Forward Start Force, Run Velocity, Run Acceleration, Run Steps. & Aerobic data. at selected distance is also included. Environmental changes to athlete Maximum Run Velocity is provided.
Aerobic data is first calculated for best effort at selected Run Distance & Run Time. Calculations include Run Pace, VO2MaxRate, VO2MaxPct, VO2MaxVelocity, Intensity Level, & Calories Burnt. Calculations for other distances & velocities can then be made.
Aerobic data is used for Interval, Aerobic Threshold, Lactate Threshold, or Repetition Training. Lactate Threshold is estimated using Intensity Level (such as 85 Percent). Heart Rate values are estimated by multiplying athletes Maximum Heart Rate by Percent of Intensity Level.
Environmental changes to athlete Maximum Run Velocity provided. Input parameters include Selected Velocity & Athlete Weight. Adjustable environmental parameters include Parallel Wind Velocity, Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Altitude, & Relative Humidity. Results include Modified Velocity, typical 100 Meter Time, & Air Density.
Supplied athlete measurements are used to calculate Start block settings. They provide foundation for a good race start. Values for each athlete can be edited & saved.
Relay team analysis, Male or Female, for a specific race is provided. Race selections provided: 4X100, 4X200, 4X400, 4X800, 4X1500, 1600 Medley, 4000 Medley & Shuttle Hurdle.
Training Plans are created using Create Plan Menu. Training Sessions associated with a specific training plan can then be created from generated data using Plan Session(s) Menu.
Independent Sessions are created using Create Session Menu. Each Session uses the following data: Athlete Name, Session Date, Training Season, Training Preparation(s), Training Event(s), & Event Types (Speed, Endurance, Distance, Strength, & Power).
Each Training Session is partially initialized with representative data. Session data can then be added or edited after the athlete completes each Training Session.
Training Plans & Sessions are created, updated, or deleted using training menu selections.
Evaluation of Training results, using Training Session(s) recorded data, provides event performance analysis & athlete fitness level estimates to help an athlete achieve peak performance. Menu selection of Speed, Endurance, Strength, or Power provides detail & summary evaluation results.
Sample training elements are used to create training session(s). Elements provided include those for Sprint, Distance, Hurdle, Relay, Strength, & Power.
Results are saved by entering a non-default (not Defaultxxx) Athlete Name.
