Description

In extension with the APPI-COM radio, the APPI-Smart mobile application offers a set of independent and complementary functionalities to increase the security offered by the APPI-Com radio system, but also to improve access to the system.

APPI-Smart acts as a manual and automatic relay of immobility alerts (LWP - Lone Worker Protection) to the outside to warn a remote contact in real time. A real improvement in the physical safety of your team.

In concrete terms, when an APPI-Com triggers an immobility alert thanks to its LWP functionality, this alert will be relayed to APPI-Smart via Bluetooth. APPI-Smart will then be responsible for carrying out an emergency alert by gsm network / 3G / 4G using 3 different and cumulative ways:
- By Phone call to a predefined number.
- By SMS with date, time, GPS position, Group name to a predefined number.
- By E-mail with date, time, GPS position, Group name to a predefined e-mail address.

This feature remains optional, and, it can also be activated to protect the whole APPI group.
Indeed, LWP alerts are transmitted between the APPI-Com, so that the APPI-Com connected to APPI-Smart can signal a teammate in danger. This also means that only one APPI-Smart is needed for a complete intervention group.

Finally, this feature also makes it possible to secure people who previously did not need the APPI-Com system but who need contact with the outside network: isolated and lonely workers off the network in their high-risk jobs.

Also, APPI-Smart offers the Beep-To-Call functionality to your APPI-Com. By emitting a Beep APPI-Com you generate a call directly to your referring contact.

Emails/SMS - Text Messages/Call Log

To ensure instant support and optimal security, APPI-Technology allows your phone to automatically and unmanipulated generate SMS, e-mail and phone messages to your emergency contact. In addition, for better call management, APPI-Technology accesses the call log exclusively made with APPI-Smart to your emergency contact.
APPI-Technology declines all responsibility for additional costs related to these calls, sms and data consumption triggered by the APPI-Smart security system.
