Two editions of DroidDB Database & Forms Builder are available. Standard Edition lets you build apps to run on any Android 2.1 or greater devices. The Business Edition lets you build apps to run on the Android PLUS synchronize with desktop data.

One Runtime End-User License is required for each mobile device that is running DroidDB apps.

"How to save money on the Runtime End-User License"

When you purchase the DroidDB Runtime End-User License from the Android Marketplace (Google play), you are purchasing not only the current version but also pre-paying for all future update versions.

This is a result of how Google designed the Android Marketplace. Google's design of the Android Marketplace (Google play) does not accomodate the notion of a "paid upgrade". Once you purchase something from the Android Marketplace (Google play), you can download an upgraded version at any time at no cost.

If you don't want to pre-pay for upgrades you may not ever need, you can purchase your DroidDB End-User Runtime license from the SYWARE Store (http://www.droiddb.com/store).
