Description
The TNEGA Face Auth KYC App is the authorized Mobile App of the Government of Tamil Nadu for Aadhaar-based eKYC of its Citizens through Self-Support mode and Assisted mode. It is a generic App for multiple Government Departments requiring eKYC through Face Authentication modality offered by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) by integrating with the FaceRD App of UIDAI. The application takes department/ domain specific identifiers as inputs and face PID data from the UIDAI RD application (required to be installed in the user's Mobile device), send these inputs to UIDAI to fetch user KYC information. Such KYC is shared back with the departments and the same will be deleted from the TNeGA system. Among the Use-Cases of the App is the mandatory Aadhaar-based eKYC of School Students for the disbursement of Scholarships to eligible Students.
The Mobile App has Accessibility features in compliance with WCAG 2.0 and Other W3C/WAI Guidelines for Mobile Accessibility. It has Bi-lingual instructions in English and Tamil.
