Angel Investors, HNIs, and VCs can see the details of startups raising capital through the platform. The investor can register and join events such as founders call, due diligence meets, and other events around startup funding through the app itself.
IAF Venture provides the following information about the startup -
• Important Details- This includes information on the headquarters/ location of the company, industry, establishment year, core business activities, its mission and vision, goals and objectives. One can find out more about the company using the attached links to this page such as the official Website, LinkedIn account as well as Twitter handle.
• Team – This section give a brief about the core team of the company which includes the founders, CEO, COO, CFO and so on. Their LinkedIn profile has also been shared for convenience of the investors.
• Funding – The details about the funding rounds, funds available, funds required, capital invested, investors, etcetera is provided here. If the investor is interested in the company and is willing to invest, they can select ‘Commit Investment’ to carry on with the further proceedings.
• Additional Information – Additional knowledge about the competition is provided along with its differentiation point. This assists investors to compare the company with its competitors and determine if it’s worth investing. Investor Deck is available in the form of a PDF file for added knowledge about the company.
How to Show interest in the startup
When you click on a particular start-up, it opens the page with all the information about the company where you will find a ‘heart icon’ on the top right corner. You can click on the ‘heart icon’ or 'thumbs up icon' at the end of page to show your interest in the company.
One can check their Interested Start-ups in the Profile tab.
Startup Pitch Session
The start-up presents a business pitch to the interested investors wherein it will discuss the present and future of the company, its opportunities, threats, and various strategies.
