【About this App】
1300 years ago, a government office called “Dazaifu” was placed in Kyushu, west of Japan, and a city was also built there in line with the standard for capitals. Many people visited from the Main land and diplomacy and trade were conducted vigorously. For this reason, cultural artists transferred from The Imperial Court and advanced culture bloomed here.
Dazaifu played an important role in Japanese history. The story about its history and cultural assets titled “The Western Capital of Ancient Japan 〜 Exchange Hub with East Asia 〜”designated as a Japan Heritage site in April 2015.
