Spiders and Flies

Description

The following problem must be solved in the game. Given three spiders and a fly which can only move on the edges of a given solid. The spiders try to catch the fly. Although they are blind, the spiders can coordinate their movements as a team. The fly sees and knows everything, but it is slower. The spiders are looking for an algorithm to catch the fly for sure. If the player controls the spiders, he or she needs a good strategy and coordination skills to finish the game successfully. If the player controls the fly, the aim is to survive as long as possible since the spiders catch you definitely. The solution examples provide you with good catching algorithm if you want to play the spiders.
