This is a non-commercial website dedicated to the genius of Sagar Sen, the timeless legend. It’s an effort to digitally immortalize the legend of Sagar Sen and perpetuate his timeless, ethereal renditions of Rabindrasangeet in the virtual domains and provide to his innumerable admirers and fans a comprehensive archive of almost all of his works.

This project is the outcome of several years of untiring creative effort. Envisioning and creating the many videos featuring the legend in a digital avatar was a huge challenge both in terms of creative endeavour and in terms of resources. This is a fully moderated, media loaded, community based website, rich in contextual content that has been conceptualized and designed to engage the user in an immersive experience. It's an effort to break new ground in terms of reaching out to the modern young and presenting to them the timeless musical genius of Sagar Sen and take his enduring, ethereal renditions beyond the conventional Bengali diaspora, break the shackles of language barrier, and reach out to the global listener. It is our endeavour to present Sagar Sen's rich musical legacy in a global format that is identifiable to the lovers of world music.
