Description

The financial providers which we refer as funders, are always looking for deserving students to sponsor and would like to be able to track the students’ development throughout their years of study in order to make informed and timely decisions. Currently some funders rely on students to provide them with academic results and at times the academic reports are not submitted at all. In most cases, funders will have students in multiple institutions and managing such data, comes with its own challenges. Our system will thus assist the funders by bringing all the required information onto a single platform which can be consolidated into one report and in the format useful for the funders to make an informed decision.
The delay in exchange of information and data hinders the timely intervention that the funder might need to assist the students in improving their overall performance, be it the students conduct or their academic problems or challenges.
Our application is therefore, designed to bridge that gap, between the funder, the student and institutions of learning. There is a need to share information and data between the funder and the student, between the institutions of learning and the student, between the funder and the Institutions of learning. We seeking to develop an electronic system that will enable timely and accurate flow of information and data.
In order to achieve the set objectives, the system will have 3 independent and interconnected platforms, namely: funder’s portal, student mobile application and the tertiary institution integrated API.
