Description

AnkiMate generates flashcards from your notes, based on your rules.

So, you can write in Evernote:
Q: Best app ever
A: AnkiMate
... And a flashcard will be generated automatically !!

• There can be any number of flashcards of any number of types in a note.
• Keywords(e.g Q & A above) can be in any order & are case-insensitive .
• You could put raccoons between the keywords and AnkiMate will still catch them (the keywords, not the raccoons).
• With Tasker support (via intents), the possibilities to create flashcards are potentially endless. Almost any data source can be parsed in Tasker and added automatically as flashcards. (See http://grokkingstuff.weebly.com/tasker--ankimate.html)

Flashcards are automatically sent to AnkiDroid, which employs spaced repetition. In simple words, it asks you how well you know something and makes sure that you're prompted less about information you know well.

Why spaced repetition?
• Ginormously efficient as you won't have to see the same cards everyday
• Forgetting something a little bit is actually good for long-term retention
(But don't take my word for it. Here's Thomas Frank from CollegeInfoGeek: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eVajQPuRmk8 )

IMPORTANT : Install AnkiDroid from here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ichi2.anki&hl=en. This app won't function without it.

Update: Due to other priorities, I might not be able to work on this app for the foreseeable future. If there's enough demand, I might make this project open source, so development can continue. I just want to express my gratitude to everyone who gave it a try. It has been an incredible journey, people. Thank you.
