Description

RTC Televisión is an open television channel in the UHF band, belonging to the Municipal Corporation for Social Development of Iquique (CORMUDESI). Our goal is to provide the community of Iquique and the region with a reliable source of news, culture and sports.

Since our founding in 1996, we have worked to offer high-quality programming including local news, cultural and sporting events, and educational programs. Our content is produced by a dedicated team of journalists and television professionals, and is designed to inform, educate and entertain our audience.

Our channel offers a wide range of programs, from teleclasses and agreements with the National Television Council (CNTV) such as NOVASUR, to live broadcasts of important events in the region. We also focus on the health and preparation of the population against telluric phenomena, providing crucial and timely information.

In 2017, RTC Television made the transition from analog to digital signal, improving the quality of our transmission and expanding our ability to offer high definition content. Currently, we broadcast on channel 26 open signal and channel 9 on VTR.
