Charged Up Scouting App - 548

Description

We developed this app to collect scouting data during the 2023 Charged Up FRC competitions. The app is in compliance with all FRC Rules as it does NOT require any connection (Bluetooth, internet, data, etc) and is specifically optimized for use on any Android tablet. This app was developed by FRC Team 548, the Robostangs, who are based in Northville, Michigan.

The app is organized to collect the data during the Autonomous, Tele-Op, and Endgame. This application is designed to be part of a scouting system that works with seven total tablets used by the scouters. Each tablet collects data for a single robot on the field and produces a QR Code on submission. The six individual QR codes may be scanned with the output being written into a text file. That text file may then be imported into tools such as Tableau or Excel for further data analysis.

Our user-friendly interface. The app does not require any special knowledge and only a basic understanding of Charged Up. The app uses buttons and dropdowns for specific selection and allows the user to focus on the game without doing too much work. The app also has options for every possible game outcome so the data can be properly analyzed.
