Metrica is a Canadian market research app that lets users anonymously share the websites and apps they visit with agencies looking to better understand how Canadians interact with their digital devices and the online world in general. By collecting the data shared through the Metrica app, market research agencies help brands create better products and services, more seamless online experiences, and more relevant communications for all Canadians.

After setup, the Metrica app only collects the minimum amount of data required for a study and encrypts it at the point of capture, in transit and when stored. You can even pause capture at any time, choose to opt-out of a study, or have your data deleted whenever you want.

No personally identifiable information is reported, tracked, or shared. In fact, all data that is collected during research is anonymised and aggregated with other study participants, and only used for market research purposes.
