In the name of a merciful gracious God
1 By this city I do not swear, although you are a tenant in it.
I swear to those who have given birth and to the children to whom he is a father!
I created man for everyday worries,
No one will run away from them, neither this nor that.
Did a man really think not to be defeated?
But, “I had to,” he says, “destroy wealth.”
Did you really think that in no one's eyes he did not arise?
I have given him something, eyes and lips, and tongue!
A couple of peaks of goodness - on them I imagined to throw it,
But man despised a steep and noble path.
And what is steepness, how do you know?
- Release the slave, remove the yoke of bondage from him,
Orphaned feed when they come,
Provide food to the poor, dusty.
And, patient, he will be between those who are faithful to Me,
Call for mercy. Such - on the right side!
And to the left are those who flee from My signs.
Fire from the vaults of Darkness is ready to fall upon them!
