Description

The Paraguayan Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics is a non-profit, union, scientific, cultural and social Federation with Legal Status, whose purposes are:

- Sponsor, study and discuss issues of Gynecology and Obstetrics and everything that may be related to these specialties, under the scientific, social, union, legal and ethical aspect.
- Promote the continuous training of its associates, through national and international congresses, specialization courses and scientific meetings.
- Encourage and facilitate the participation of partners in scientific meetings abroad.
- Encourage the presentation of scientific papers on topics of the specialty.
- Sustain a periodical publication of a scientific nature, whether in print or by digital means.
- Attend and deal with the union issue of its associates.
- Promote relations with other scientific societies, federations or related confederations, national and foreign.
- Maintain communication with colleagues in the interior of the country through subsidiaries and work groups.
- Take an interest in matters of general and national interest and in the field of Public Health, acting as the controlling entity of the quality of the professional practice of its members.
