Description

The "Palafita" is the result of a project carried out by the Mediatel Telematics - Mediatel research group, of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, in partnership with the Instituto Arte no Dique. Based on a conceptual tripod focusing on Communication for Peace, Conflict Mediation and Humanitarian Communication, the project is empowering community residents to portray their daily lives by producing counter-hegemonic local journalism capable of producing memory, history, and future projects based on humanitarian values and ethical issues that can shape importance to the physical and communicational environments.
