Description

EHM (Emergency Helpline for Marginalized Segments) is an android app to generate SOS and receive police help. This application provides an emergency helpline and sos that focuses on women and minorities.
The user can request emergency response from the Khyber Pakhunkhwa Police for themselve for on the behalf of some one else. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has created dedicated response teams for
- Women
- Monitorities
- Children
- Transgenders
- Diffrently Abled People
These options are available in the app as different buttons. The user can generate a SOS request by pressing the respective button. When the user presses any SOS button a call will be generated to the Police Helpline. The current location of the user will also be shared with the response team within the system. As the response teams will be using their dedicated logins of the system. The users can opt out of the location shareing.
There is also an option for live chat feature for people who are in a situation where they cannot talk with the representative on call.
