Description

What's MOA Calculator?

Easy Calibration is a minimalist, privacy friendly ballistics calculator for quickly and easily calibrating every standard scope for rifles and guns, as well as other optics.
You just have to set the target distance, and optionally the inclination of the rifle, if the target is positioned higher or lower than you.
Easily calibrate rifles, guns, telescopes, blowguns, military optics, pistols, sights, bows...

Basic Instructions for a ballistic calibration

After a first shot with the rifle immobilized on a fixed support, with the target accurately centered using the scope, measure the distance between the center of the target and the hole on both vertical and horizontal axis (difference in height, difference in width).
Using the metal ring on your optics you can adjust the next shot by one or more "click" on both the vertical and horizontal axis. The value of each "click" is a fraction of the MOA (minute of angle) calculated by the app: it depends from your optics (can be 1/4, 1/8 of a MOA). MOA Calculator tells you how many inches on the target a single click on your scope corresponds to.
For example: the hole is 3 inches far from the center of your target. The app tells you that each "click" on your 1/4 scope, at that distance, corresponds to 1 inch. Then you know you have to adjust your optics by 3 "clicks" on the horizontal ring.
Knowing the measure of a MOA ad a certain distance is also useful to quantificate and standardize your shooting precision.

We respect your privacy and your smartphone

The app is very lightweight and it doesn't use much of the smartphone resources.
MOA Calculator is also privacy friendly since it does not collect user data nor needs Android special permissions to run.
