Description
The Good Bowls mobile app is designed to improve the dietary quality and culinary skills of workers in North Carolina participating in a worksite wellness intervention. Participants will learn to eat well and cook more at home through short videos and interactive messages and posts. Additionally, participants interacting in the mobile app will have the opportunity to build community and gain the support of others in reaching their health goals.
Features:
1. Short weekly video (2-3 minutes) to outline a health or nutrition topic and provide quick, applicable tips
2. Daily posts or user polls discussing more about the health or nutrition topic for the week.
3. Weekly posts highlighting a new recipe each week.
4. Weekly posts encouraging goal-setting.
5. Weekly posts encouraging users to share their recipes, stories, and wins for the week and enter for an opportunity to win monthly incentives.
6. Access to a database of over 100 easy to follow recipes.
7. Interact with others, sharing photos, videos, and ideas to build community and support each other along your health journey.
