The extensive manual, which comes with the app, consists of a book, entitled The Happiness Meter, published by Witsand in 2020. This book also includes a physical Happiness Meter, which consists of four sliders, such as on a mixer. The Happiness Meter is based on the PAVA awareness model, a holistic method for personal growth, which Joost Vanhove developed between 1996 and 2016 based on his experience as a psychotherapist, life coach and teacher of personal development.
In the PAVA awareness model, which is increasingly used by coaches and managers, Joost Vanhove has clearly identified the most essential factors that determine everyone's happiness. By luck, the author means the combination of efficiency, satisfaction and meaning. The Happiness Meter is an easy-to-use auto-feedback app, with which you can determine and increase your Happiness quotient (GQ) in any situation.
