According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 30% to 70% of drugs sold in Africa are counterfeit. These fake drugs are a real scourge that kills more than 800,000 people a year across the African continent.
Despite the magnitude of the scourge of counterfeit medicines, literate and illiterate usually have their eyes to try to unmask the true from the false from selling drugs. Vendors like patients generally have no way third parties to verify the originality of the products they buy or sell. Caregivers them no longer have no tool to verify that the specified product is the one that the patient has purchased and is authentic.
Sometimes menus prescriptions, patients or their relatives must travel pharmacies, one after the other in search of the prescribed product. This time wasted looking for the pharmacy with the product sometimes costing lives.
Health Assistant is an application that allows to verify the authenticity of drugs. This is an easy to use tool to generate interactive database. It is primarily intended for pharmaceutical companies, guarantee service quality of medicines by countries and the general public.
The main functions of the application are:
- Authentication of drugs through the integrated code reader.
- Production QR code (for local products with barcode)

- Stock management (scanning and scan-+)
- List of pharmacies that have the desired product in real time
