Description

Logistics Data Bank (LDB) provides container visibility service across all key Indian container terminals during its journey through Road, Rail and Sea. Our services help stakeholders track Containers, compare performance metrics and bring in much required visibility and transparency across supply chain. The new features also provide high sea visibility of the containers starting from Port of Origin to Port of delivery with transhipment and transit points. LDB system is integrated with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), Freight Operation Information System (FOIS) and other third party EXIM data sources.

NICDC Logistics Data Services (NLDS), formerly known as DMICDC Logistics Data Services is a joint venture between Government of India represented by National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust and Japanese IT major NEC Corporation, with 50:50 equity participation.

NLDS was incorporated on 30th December, 2015 with the objective of effectively leveraging ICT across the Indian Logistics Sector, inculcate best practices across the various processes and work towards bringing in efficiency in the supply chain. The company aims at bringing visibility and transparency in Logistics environment, streamline the operations across the supply chain and help in government’s plan of improving the Ease of Doing Business in India.
