NBPGR PDS

Description

NBPGR-PDS is a mobile assisted Passport Databook that helps explorers to record the passport information of the collected germplasm in digital manner. Passport data book contains various fields/parameters for gathering the observations like species name,country/state/district/village of origin, vernacular/cultivar name, date of collection, collector’s number; geographical location (latitude, longitude and altitude), etc. are the major fields for recording the information. and exports the feed record in MS excel format. The App also has the facility to operate offline and standalone to protect data at user’s end. It has added features like ‘More Info’ and ‘Feedback’, which the users can easily access to additional details and share query directly to the host Institute.
