Crete is one of the most famous islands of Greece. It is distinguished by its natural beauty and wide folk tradition. Particularly the musical tradition of Crete is widespread throughout Greece. The main musical instruments of the place are the lyre, the lute, the mandolin and the asκomantura.
Cretan Lyra and Mandolin is an application that simulates the instrument of the Cretan lyre and the instrument mandolin.
You can find the following options:
• Learn the range between the notes on the instruments fingerboards and the notes produced by playing freely the strings. Learn to produce the notes.
• Free play. There is a choice of lute's accompaniment.
• Play with guidance, some well known Cretan songs. You can choose lute's companion.
