Description

Are you in the middle of a power outage..? There could be more to the outage than at the power utility level of a downed power pole or street light. The power grid could be rolling "Black-outs" at the ISO level due to consumption and demand. This GRID-WATCH app tells all.

This app covers local power utilities and any ISO operators in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North & South Carolina and Virginia and West Virginia. This app is a 2nd release with future expansions into other states later. Southern Plains states including Texas, OK, Mississippi and a few others are in the design phase.

This app works in "standalone install" mode, but the developer recommends installation in conjunction with other ISO mobile apps from Google Play. Users would need to download separately all mobile ISO apps. Power Outage Reporter-GRID WATCH is made to integrate with our SKYWARN Alerts with EMWIN app to assist NWS storm spotters with damage assessments.
