This app offers the user of the app to share the location to a selected list either through email or sms or both. In addition, this app also offers to geolocate places on the map, along with interested and pertinent details right on your fingers.
What led us to develop this application?
This app was developed several years ago when the number of school bus stops increased with a gradual increase in number of school students in our area, which resulted in fluctuations in buses coming on time leading to younger kids and their parents waiting in bitter cold during cold, sub-freezing winter days. While thinking of a solution, we were keen to come up with a solution that anyone could use without much complexity. We believe that this updated version catering to recent android updates is a good starting point on that front.
What can this app do and how it works?
Step 1: Click on the location link;
Step 2: Use location sharing option that will become available, and then copy the link to the clipboard;
Step 3a: Then, enter the emails addresses where the link needs to be shared (a group email would be better);
Step 3b: the same can be done for sms by entering the phone numbers separated by a comma;
Step 4: Press the appropriate button to send email or sms
Step 5: Enter a place name and press the map to get details about that place
