Praise be to Allah and may benedictions and salutations of Allah be upon our Messenger (SAW) who said: (This my son is a master through whom Allah will make a compromise between two great parties (groups) of the Muslims).
(Now then) Our excellent and sincere brother the vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria, the chief of staff Alhaji (Usman Ibn Musa Shehu Yar Aduwa) may Allah’s protection and guidance be upon him, and may him give him the everlasting blessings and may facilitate in everything advantageous to the country, to Islam and the Muslims in general, in this world and the next-he had endeavored to unite the Muslims of this country, after when some sinful hands out streached from the abroad and invaded some of those who are of weak determinations or some of those who were of evil intentions among those who undervalue their religion, whose beliefs and convictions were malicious, because of an ignorance in them, blaspheming the Muslim leaders and the school of thoughts of the Sunnist. They played this feeble role for nothing but some pecuniary gains, or some cheep temptations which were coming to them from their lords, whose (to them) obedience was an audidable after when they have already sold them their conscience and belief, rather everything in them.
I was badly annoyed when some of these people affiliate themselves or affiliated by the public to the circle of the scholars in this country.
We strived hard in sermouning the difficulties. With the assistance of this faithful believer, whom since became known to me, I grasp gentility, preservance and service for Nigeria, Islam and the Muslims in him.
One of the greatest things he does as: His request (call) for the establishment of the Islamic council of Nigeria which busted out the supreme council on pilgrimage and was busily engaged in getting solutions to the problems which preoccupied the Muslim minds in Nigeria, and it is equally important to note that he called for naturalization of the relationship between the religious leaders in this country.
