Description
This app is based on the Refrigerant Licence New Zealand Certified Fillers Course, to calculate the safe filling weight for refrigerant cylinders, depending on the type of refrigerant and cylinder capacity.
By managing the destruction of unwanted refrigerant gases, we’re playing a vital role in the protection of Earth’s ozone layer and our environment.
The Recovery Trust (RECOVERY) was formed in New Zealand in 1993 to promote and facilitate the collection, storage and disposal of all surplus refrigerant gases that were originally imported for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications and are now being discarded.
Without the efforts of RECOVERY to encourage industry support and compliance through effective product stewardship, harmful refrigerant gases would continue to be lost into the Earth's atmosphere.
