Description

Do you teach writing or use writing to learn in your classroom? Are you looking for colleagues who value writing as much as you do? Do you like to exchange book titles, lesson ideas, and curriculum resources? If so, the National Writing Project’s Write Now Teacher Studio is the place for you.

The Write Now Teacher Studio is a place where you can:

+ Connect with colleagues around topics of interest in your teaching practice
+ Create or join a professional writing group

+ Attend events and join conversations about writing and teaching writing

+ Form groups to tackle specific challenges, find support, and celebrate accomplishments

+ Join and design teacher-led courses with other experienced, successful writing teachers

The Write Now Teacher Studio is open to all teachers with an interest in writing and teaching writing and is made possible through the National Writing Project (NWP), a national network of teachers focused on the teaching of writing, K-university and across the disciplines. NWP is a US-based national nonprofit that focuses the knowledge, expertise, and leadership of our nation's educators on sustained efforts to improve writing and learning for all learners. NWP believes writing in its many forms is the signature means of communication in the 21st century and works toward a more equitable future where every person is an accomplished writer, engaged learner, and active participant in a digital, interconnected world.
