Description

Important Note: Before launching the application, ensure your phone has been in standby mode for at least 10 minutes to allow the internal components to cool down. If the smartphone is on charge or has been held in your hands for an extended period, the measurements may be inaccurate.

Important Note: This feature supplements traditional thermometers and should not be solely relied upon for critical temperature-sensitive tasks.

This application has the capability to display both indoor and outdoor temperatures around you. Application utilize the smartphone's thermistor, a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor designed for battery temperature monitoring, to measure external temperatures. These sensors, semiconductor components, safeguard the battery from overheating or excessive cooling by swiftly adjusting their electrical resistance based on temperature fluctuations, allowing them to interrupt the circuit for safety purposes.

How does this relate to temperatures outside the device?
During standby mode, a smartphone's battery temperature remains stable, correlating with the ambient air temperature. We leverage this characteristic for external temperature measurements.

Instructions:
1. Install a temperature monitoring app
2. Ensure your smartphone is in standby mode for accurate external temperature readings.
3. Understand that while the measurements may not be as precise as dedicated thermometers, they provide a convenient estimation of external temperature.
4. Remember, this feature supplements traditional thermometers and should not be solely relied upon for critical temperature-sensitive tasks.
5. "Keep your smartphone away from hot and cold objects to ensure accurate temperature readings and prevent potential damage to the device."
6. The temperature is measured within the range of -20°C to +150°C ( 5°F to 300°F)."
