Rádio Contemporânea is headquartered in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, is part of Central Record de Comunicação since 1989 and operates on the AM 990 kHz frequency. With varied programming, which includes journalism, sports, entertainment and music, the radio broadcasts live online and on the 990 AM frequency throughout the region of Rio de Janeiro. The station was founded as Rádio Ipanema and stood out for mixing contemporary evangelical hits with classics from the 70s and 80s.
