Description

MedEdQR is a cloud based, hybrid medical case delivery system utilizing smart mobile devices and a web-based application to bring augmented reality and dynamic engagement to clinical and case / problem based medical education. MedEdQR differentiates itself from other “virtual patient” systems by moving the student from behind the computer to in front of the “patient.” This empowers the student to think through the activity using the MedEdQR tool as a means to obtain patient information and diagnostic data during the simulated patient encounter. MedEdQR is a unique tool that augments the reality of clinical and case based medical education by bringing a "live" component to even paper based cases.
