Our goal is to help you dig for places you never knew existed. The playlists created by other travel enthusiasts help you explore local hidden gems and places that will never appear in the popular “Top 10” lists.
For instance, you can stumble upon a Phat Map user’s playlist about a 7 storey shop in Japan that only sells buttons. Or another user’s playlists about the oldest bathhouse in Istanbul, The TahtaHamami, dating to the second half of the 15th century!
Phat Maps is a playlist of places exactly like these, local, hidden, unknown, and “oh! so interesting”.
