Description

The application presents the Tenture of the Apocalypse which is a set of medieval tapestries of the fourteenth century commissioned by Duke Louis I of Anjou.
This set illustrates the Apocalypse of John and is exposed to the castle of Angers.
The application is based on the engravings of M. Léon de JOANNIS and the texts (translation of the Apocalypse, commentary, description) of Bishop Eugène MACHEFER.
