AntibioticApp , is a practical, synthetic, reliable and free consultation tool.
It is intended to improve the use of antimicrobials in the current resistance context. It offers information on infectious diseases, therapeutic recommendations, vaccines, infection control, up-to-date pharmacological and microbiological data, and is supported by nationally relevant scientific entities.

This application is intended for health professionals.

You will be able to consult more than 200 antimicrobial treatments and prophylaxis organized by system / organ and type of infection, an extensive antimicrobial formulary with complete descriptions of the drugs, their proper dosage and administration, updated microbiological and parasitological information with epidemiological and national resistance data. Access to the contents can be done through intuitive menus in each area or through a search for terms engine for quick or specific access.
You also have a glomerular filtration calculator and anthropometric data to adapt the prescription to your patient and their special conditions.
In addition, we will keep you informed through our notification system so that you always have the most recent information, being able to expand the information through bibliographic links .

We also offer epidemiological information and recommendations for a comprehensive approach to COVID-19, based on official data and from scientific societies.

The contents are periodically updated by the Argentine Society of Infectology ( SADI ), the Argentine Association of Hospital Pharmacists ( AAFH ), the University Center for Research in Microbiology and Parasitology ( CUDEMyP ) and the Argentine Society of Intensive Care ( SATI ).
