Description

Application designed to help adults of both sexes using the urinary Clean Intermittent Catheterization (CIC) at home.


APP FUNCTIONS
▣ Guide support: Interactive Content on the proper care for adults who use the CIL, to be used as a complement care provided by health professionals.

▣ Daily voiding: Tool that allows the daily record of the frequency of ingested and eliminated net, losses and related factors, to monitor the urinary habit of patients with voiding dysfunction who perform the CIL.

▣ voiding Alarm: Tool that allows you to schedule the times that CIL should be performed, according to their voiding habit and often established in conjunction with health professionals.


SUPPORT
CIL guide was one of the applications awarded in INOVAPPS contest 2015 organized by the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation Communications - MCTIC and the Federal Government of Brazil.

The content and application of the prototype were developed during the Masters Nurse Barbara J Costa Pereira (Graduate Program in Nursing at the Federal University of São Carlos).
