This APP provides access to the innovative web portal www.lacucinacampana.it, which offers in an integrated way all the contents related to typical Campania food, connected to each other "360°" through 1 or 2 simple "clicks": agri-food products with their suppliers, local dishes with the restaurateurs who offer them, associated places, complete itineraries, experiences, food culture...

The Portal has several elements of differentiation compared to existing websites (such as the review of a single dish offered by a restaurateur or a single product sold by an agri-food supplier), and offers a rich range of functions and contents, which are translated into 10 foreign languages ​​(the main 7 European ones plus Chinese, Japanese and Arabic).

For example, users interested in a certain local dish can obtain:
 its description;
 one or more recipes to prepare it;
 the restaurateurs who offer that dish nearby, with related opinions on it;
 tourist information on places associated with the dish.

Thanks to the Portal, the consumer can overturn the logic used today in choosing a restaurateur: he can first decide "what" to eat, and from the Portal he knows "where" to find it, of good quality and nearby. Likewise, it knows where to find quality local products, based on product reviews and supplier information.
Furthermore, with the information provided by the Portal, tourists can quickly independently build a complete food and wine itinerary (places, products, dishes, experiences...) based on their own tastes, and similarly residents can choose where to go (e.g. on weekends) to consume different, quality local dishes.
Those who intend to cook according to a recipe that uses local products, then, know where to find those better quality products.

The Portal adopts a review management strategy that aims to ensure that merchants and consumers have maximum reliability: e.g. gives users the possibility to assign a rating (“I agree” or “I disagree”) to each review, in order to give other visitors an evaluation of its reliability.

The Portal also offers proposals for complete tourist itineraries and numerous food and wine "experiences" organized in the area by local operators.

By reading the profile of each place and the links contained in it, visitors can learn about its food and wine excellences, traditions, attractions present in the area, and thus discover small villages and realities of rural and internal areas with riches that are little known today.

In a Menu called «Knowledge» information is provided on cultural topics related to food (such as the Guidelines for healthy eating, sustainable agriculture methods, quality brands and designations...), coming from authoritative sources on the individual topics, to guarantee users their reliability and impartiality. Furthermore, their effects on health are highlighted in the data sheets of various agri-food products, to provide useful information to consumers.

The Portal was developed entirely by the Innovative StartUp "La Cucina Campana srl", which intends to help stimulate the choice of quality local products, develop food and wine tourism, encourage the spread of food culture, promote small, little-known businesses, to the benefit of the territory.
