Calculation Cubes is a math game. To play, you roll a specified number of dice to get your base numbers, and you use those base numbers in any order with any mathematical operators to come the closest to a randomly selected target number as possible.

For example, if the dice roll to 1, 2, and 3, and your target number is 7, then 1+(2x3) would be one possible exact solution - and so would 2^3-1.

There may or may not be any exact solutions, depending on the base numbers and the target number selected. The top 500 solutions (or all solutions, if less than 500) are displayed in the Solutions list, ordered by difference between the calculated solution and the target number. The list is scrollable.

For younger ages, the solutions can be limited to addition and subtraction only. Older ages may enjoy playing with multiplication and division enabled, and if you are a math whiz you could try using the powers and roots feature!

The best way to understand this game is to try it yourself. Give it a roll and see if you can come up with one of the top solutions using the randomly selected dice and target number!
