Children are innocent creatures and are still very vulnerable to jinn disturbances. Therefore, as parents, we must be alert from attacks by spirits on our children, because we are charged with the responsibility to protect them. There are indications of children being disturbed by jinns, including:
1. Feeling that someone is following or whispering
2. Likes to stare or talk to himself
3. Abnormal growth (ex.: talking for a long time, walking for a long time, etc.)
4. Frequent nightmares

6. Trouble sleeping

Ruqiyah is a syar'i method of treatment exemplified by the Prophet to ask for protection from misfortune and disease. This is done by listening to the recitation of the verses of the Koran.
