Description
Take a virtual tour of an icon of modern architecture. The Farnsworth House in Plano, Illinois was designed and built by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe between 1945 and 1951.
This demo project shows the possibilities of virtual reality for visualizing architecture. It was developed using Epic Games' UE4 - Unreal Game Engine.
Navigation can be done using touch gestures or motion sensors. Interactive floor plans show the location and provide orientation. Each world is made up of individual levels: e.g. individual apartments or floors. Other interactive elements can be integrated: changes to surfaces and materials, furniture, light switches and much more.
There is also a VR mode for Google Cardboard.
Unreal Engine 4.18.3
ARM v7 (32-bit)
OpenGL ES 2.0
tested on Samsung S4
