ULMbeacon

Description

Designed to work in landscape mode, ULMbeacon integrates 3 different maps, covering all France and Corsica, on 6 levels of zoom and 7 scale factors. ULMbeacon allows visualization of French airspace, all VAC cards according to the AIRAC cycle, as well as PDF files extracted from the Basulm website, and available at any time during the flight.

The application requires access to location information (GPS and network) as well as access to storage space on the memory card to install maps and other data. Without authorization the application will stop automatically.

Under development, the application will be updated regularly.

During the first installation you will have to download additional data, about 1.3 GB. These data are necessary for the operation of the application (markers, VAC cards, basemap, etc ...). The download can make several minutes depending on the internet connection.

Documentation exists for the Windows version of ULMbeacon, it is in preparation for the Android version and will be available soon.
