▶ FROSINONE CALCIO - THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB

Frosinone Calcio was officially born on 19 September 1928. A long tradition
consolidated in recent years, with participation in six Serie B championships often as a protagonist, up to conquering the first historic promotion to Serie A in 2015 becoming, after S.S. Lazio and A.S. Rome, the third most famous team in the region.
The yellow and blue club's most rosy period coincides with the presidency of Maurizio Stirpe, son of Benito (former president in the 1960s), who took over the club in 2003.
The new stadium, the "Benito Stirpe", takes its name from the father of the current President: inaugurated on 28 September 2017, it is one of the three Italian facilities managed directly by a club (in addition to Juventus' Allianz STADIUM and the Dacia Arena of Udinese).
