Description

When AAR started operating in 1984, our primary business was evacuation of medical and accident casualties, both by road and air. As our membership increased, so did the needs of our clients, creating more opportunities to comprehensively provide health care packages for our clients. It is our flexibility, innovation and readiness to respond to the needs of our clients that we have today.

AAR’s social responsibility is very clearly spelt out in the company’s CSR policy statement:

To achieve commercial success in ways that honour ethical values, compliance with legal requirements and respect for people, communities and the natural environment

AAR Healthcare (U) ltd
AAR is a leading private healthcare company that started its operations in 1984.It operates over twenty-four health centres in the host countries providing preventative and curative health care. The firm also offers rescue and evacuation service to its members worldwide.

In Uganda, AAR has nine clinics: AAR Acacia, AAR Bweyogerere, AAR Ntinda, AAR Bugolobi, AAR Gulu, AAR Makerere Hill clinic, AAR City Centre, AAR Freedom city clinic and AAR Kabalagala. Our major success has been setting up a private health care market, thereby encouraging other players to assist in further development of the health sector in Uganda.
