Description

Irumalpetty Sunday School began with Thottathikukam Nedumparambil Abdul Khadar as the first student. There were a total of 118 students in the begining.
After 2 years, the school developed into what is seen today on the 1.5 acre land originally owned by Chetooor Mana. The grew under the leadership of people such as T.M Mithiyan himself.
Eventhough the school began with 1st grade to 4th grade at first, the Upper Primary grades were added in the 1980s.
These new grades were inaugrated and offered to the society by the then Educational Minister Baby John.
With the help and unity of teachers, parents and the people of the town the school became one of the finest with over 590 students.
